Valentine’s Day Giveaway Winner

Last month saw our giveaway offer. To celebrate Valentine’s Day we made a special offer of a free promotional video for a charity based between Bristol and Cardiff.

We had specific criteria – the video had to be one that would promote an event in 2017.

At Luminous Media we love working with charities. As a business our mission is to do others good, and to help those seeking to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

We were delighted with the response that we received but could only select one charity this time.

For 2017 we have chosen Caring in Bristol to receive our free video offer

Caring in Bristol is a small, effective and local charity that looks after homeless and vulnerable people in Bristol. They strive to create a society where everyone has a home, has hope and is a part of their community.

Ben Richardson, Partnerships and Development Lead for the charity, said, “We are delighted to be working with Luminous Media, and grateful for this amazing opportunity. We look forward to getting a creative message out about how members of the public can get involved and make a real impact on the lives of homeless people in Bristol – watch this space!”

Volunteer Driven Projects

The charity’s volunteer-driven projects include Bristol Nightstop, which involves the recruitment of hosts for young and vulnerable people, Caring at Christmas, where their 800 volunteers help to provide shelter, food and clothing for people in need over the festive period, and the publication of the Survival Handbook, which contains a raft of useful information about Bristol’s homeless support services.

Night Shelter

As our 2017 winners Caring in Bristol will receive a half day of filming, editing, and animated/motion graphics to help them with the opening of their new night shelter.

Luminous Media proud to sponsor Torfaen Means Business

We are pleased to announce that Luminous Media is the headline sponsor for Torfaen Means Business, the premier showcase for businesses run by the Best of Torfaen.

Torfaen Means Business will be held on Wednesday 1st March at the Congress Theatre, Cwmbran, and brings together the private and public sector to demonstrate the best that Torfaen has to offer. The event will be opened by Lynne Neagle, Assembly Member for Torfaen.

It will be a great day to network and see what’s on offer locally. As a company we do a lot of work helping other businesses to promote what they do better online and through video and will be looking forward to talking about that on the day.”

We are a design, video, digital, copywriting, and PR company working with clients across several sectors. We recently produced a motion graphic video for a new Marilyn Monroe Perfume licensed by Fox (you can read the story of that at Wales Online). We have also worked with several charities, including Age Cymru, Sight Cymru, Dads Can, and Carers Trust Wales..

Torfaen Means Business features a wide range of businesses and organisation from all sectors – leisure, lifestyle, sports, education, and business services. Many of Torfaen’s most recommended businesses will be there, with several ranked among the best of their sector in a recent national awards.

There will be everything on display from florists and entertainers, to massage therapists and gourmet coffee sellers, plus business services – from web designers, printers, and marketers, to IT suppliers, copywriters, and bookkeepers. Refreshments will also be available at the venue on the day.

Torfaen Means Business runs from 10am-2pm on Wednesday 1st March at the Congress Theatre in Cwmbran Shopping Centre.
